We make every effort to provide our
customers with the most up to date pricing
information on new and used RVs available anywhere. Your decision
to purchase
our information reinforces our commitment to remain totally independent
from all
RV Industry related pressures and affiliations.
We work for YOU. We have no interest whether you buy or
sell an RV or where or
when. Our job is to make sure you have the most current pricing
and value
information available when you need it.
We are experts at finding the correct price and value of the
motorhome or travel
trailer you need to research. We are the only RV value reporting
service that
provides you with a documented starting point for our pricing.
Our " New Value " of each RV is quoted directly from
the national editions of The
Kelley Blue Book and the NADA Recreation Vehicle Appraisal Guide.
These are
the wholesale books. The ones dealers and lenders use. Sample
Report is Here.
"What Is The Basis
For Your Report?"
" New Value " may
be the most important entry on your report. It establishes the
basis for all the numbers that follow. It also represents a price
that is far more than
what was paid for the motor home or travel trailer when it was
new. This means it
is mostly not necessary to add anything for most 'options' to
arrive at a valid
valuation.
Beware of any service that does not include a 'New Value' or
'Original MSRP' or
other legitimate starting point upon which to base value and
price calculations.
They are out there. We know of two and they are working more
for the RV
Dealers than they are for you.
One free service by the NADA people uses their retail edition
that encourages
novice RVers to pile on the options to arrive at a highly inflated
value. RV Dealers
love this service. It allows them to make a lot of money.
Why do you think the service exists? NADA's main business is
selling their
wholesale guides to all the dealers. Do you think the service
would survive if it
were not helping dealers increase their profits at the expense
of uninformed
RVers?
Another service is similar to ours. The difference is that they
are RV Dealers
or affiliates and they do not use the 'List' or 'Suggested List
Price' (our "New
Value") reported by both appraisal guides, as basis for
their reports. They pile
on the options and arrive at pricing models that are grossly
inaccurate and
have the potential to cost RVers piles of money.
